This is a concept for a guide app that would be used by patrons of the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory. Although many tourist attractions are re-opening there are still a number of guests who would prefer to social distance but still. be able to enjoy all the venues have to offer.

So I came up with a concept for an app that would allow visitors to take self-guided tours by using an app on their mobile device. This would allow visitors to learn about the butterflies found at the park without any staff being exposed to direct contact. This would also be easier to update than physical signage posted in the park.

My idea is that the app would mainly work by using photos visitors would take with their mobile devices to identify butterflies and direct them to a catalogue on detailed facts and learning resources.

This would be the main page where visitors can see the butterfly they’ve encountered and learn more about them via facts and vibrant pictures.
